Lake George is a 788 acre spring-fed lake which provides
excellent fishing for Crappies, Northerns, Walleyes, Bass and
Panfish. You can also enjoy swimming, canoeing and water
skiing. Hikers and campers will find the birch and pine
forests a nature lover's paradise, filled with all varieties of
birds, animals and wild flowers.
Lake George is famous for its blueberries! In July, people
come from near and far to pick the wild blueberries and enjoy our
Blueberry Festival activities. Hunters will find the game
plentiful. Skiers and snowmobilers will love the miles of
excellent groomed trails.
Lake George is just seven miles east
of Itasca State Park,
Headwaters of the Mighty Mississippi. Visitors will enjoy
