ABOUT US

Lake George, Minnesota,
                  And a Whole Lot More!

Lake George is a 788 acre spring-fed lake which provides excellent fishing for Crappies, Northerns, Walleyes, Bass and Panfish.  You can also enjoy swimming, canoeing and water skiing.  Hikers and campers will find the birch and pine forests a nature lover's paradise, filled with all varieties of birds, animals and wild flowers.

Lake George is famous for its blueberries! In July, people come from near and far to pick the wild blueberries and enjoy our Blueberry Festival activities.  Hunters will find the game plentiful.  Skiers and snowmobilers will love the miles of excellent groomed trails.

Lake George is just seven miles east of Itasca State Park, Headwaters of the Mighty Mississippi.  Visitors will enjoy browsing through our many unique gift shops or the convenience of our many services.  The services include 2 restaurants, convenience store, motel lodging, bait shop, 2 churches, manufacturing companies and construction services.

Come Visit Us!  You wont get lost in Lake George, but you just might lose your heart!
